Job summary

Mistral is seeking a People Tech & Analytics Engineer to build data pipelines and automate HR processes across our HRIS, ATS, payroll, identity, and finance systems. You will join a distributed team delivering reliable data flow and insightful, self-serve reporting for People leaders.

You will implement dashboards in Metabase, run analyses on workforce trends and organisational health, and prototype AI-driven use cases for people processes while maintaining governance and audit trails.

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering or analytics engineering or HR technology.
• Strong SQL and Python skills; able to build pipelines and transformations.
• Hands-on with HRIS/ATS/payroll systems and integrations via APIs.
• Experience automating workflows with n8n, Make, Zapier, Workato or Langdock.
• Familiarity with Snowflake/BigQuery and dbt; proficient with modern data stack tools.
• Proven ability to design dashboards and data governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations and data pipelines across HR systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll, identity, finance).
• Run data quality checks and fix inconsistencies at the source.
• Implement and evolve Metabase visualisations and dashboards for leaders and partners.
• Design, build, test, and document automated HR workflows; automate with models and APIs.
• Configure HR tech stack changes; support rollout and act as first-line troubleshooter.
• Architect end-to-end HR workflows with HR Operations, Business Partnering, and Reward.
• Provide clear enablement materials in Notion and tier-1 support via a bot.
