Job summary

PayPal is seeking a Senior Account Executive, SMB Outbound in Paris to drive acquisition of higher-value, complex new-logo merchants. You will manage end-to-end deals from qualification through close, including win-back opportunities from partner platforms, across DBM and partner-generated leads with AI-assisted prospecting.

You will lead forecasting, collaborate with internal teams to improve sales processes, and mentor junior AEs while maintaining strong commercial judgment and deal

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience in partner-sourced, channel-led or complex new-business sales is a plus.
• Strong forecasting, pipeline management and deal negotiation skills.
• Ability to mentor others and improve sales processes using evidence.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex acquisition opportunities from qualification through negotiation and close.
• Prioritise leads using expected transaction margin, conversion potential and merchant readiness.
• Develop tailored onboarding and commercial propositions for higher-value merchants.
• Maintain reliable forecasts and ensure handover to Account Representative team.
