IXO Labs is seeking a Multilingual Outpatient Documentation Specialist to review clinical notes and create clear, faithful English documentation and a qualifying second language. You will check terminology, annotate errors, and explain corrections that preserve the encounter's facts and reasoning.

This is a remote, paid expert role. Requirements include US location, direct outpatient note-writing experience, English plus a qualifying language at C1 or higher, and a minimum of ten hours per week.

Review outpatient clinical notes and create clear, faithful documentation in English and your qualifying second language. Check clinical meaning, terminology and completeness, annotate errors in generated notes, and explain corrections that preserve the encounter's facts and reasoning.

Practice scope

For outpatient documentation, the qualifying languages are Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, Russian, Haitian Creole, Korean, Arabic, Portuguese, Polish, Japanese, Turkish, Italian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Finnish, French, Danish, Catalan, Hungarian, Czech, German, Bulgarian, Indonesian, Dutch or Vietnamese, subject to the selected practice route. English plus advanced C1 speaking, listening and writing in a qualifying language are needed.

Professional background

Both routes require US location, direct outpatient note-writing experience, English plus C1 or higher speaking/listening/writing ability in a listed language, and at least ten hours weekly. Accurate written proficiency is especially important.

The general ambulatory route accepts a currently practicing MD or DO in any specialty and covers Czech, Catalan, Danish, Dutch, Vietnamese or Finnish. Two post-residency years are preferred. The primary-care route requires an MD, current family/general internal medicine or primary-care practice and at least two post-residency years. Its languages are Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, Russian, Haitian Creole, Korean, Arabic, Portuguese, Polish, Japanese, Turkish, Italian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Finnish, French, Danish, Catalan, Hungarian, Czech, German, Bulgarian, Indonesian and Dutch. Five post-residency years are preferred for this route.

For either route, Epic, note-quality audits or CDI, successful AI annotation and documentation in another language are advantages.

Location eligibility

Location conditions apply to the named professional track:

• Multilingual Outpatient Physician (MD) — Clinical Documentation & AI Evaluation: United States.
• Multilingual Primary Care Physician (MD) — Clinical Documentation & AI Evaluation: United States.

Working arrangements

This is remote, paid IXO expert work. Agree the specific task brief, permitted materials, outputs and working schedule with IXO before starting. Any commitment or duration described in a practice profile is an indicative planning requirement for that route, subject to that agreement.

Pay

$180 $200/hr USD. The applicable rate is agreed for the work and professional track before you begin.
