Develop clinical benchmarks that require experienced medical judgment. Construct cases, reference responses and grading standards, review reasoning for clinical defensibility and safety, and document why a proposed answer succeeds or fails under the case's evidence and constraints.

Practice scope

MD or DO, completed residency, active US medical license and board certification are required. At least four clinical years after residency, senior clinical responsibility and professional LLM use are needed; residency and fellowship years do not count toward that threshold.

Professional background

You need an accredited MD/DO, completed specialty residency, specialty board certification and an active, unrestricted US medical license. Bring at least four clinical years after residency; residency and fellowship training do not satisfy that threshold. Your record should show senior clinical responsibility as an attending, director, academic leader or equivalent.

Demonstrate a defined clinical specialty, professional use of language models and the ability to identify fluent but clinically unsound reasoning. Clear written feedback is required. Utilization management, informatics or medical-affairs experience is useful. The planning profile is forty hours weekly for an initial six months, subject to agreement with IXO.

Working arrangements

This is remote, paid IXO expert work. Agree the specific task brief, permitted materials, outputs and working schedule with IXO before starting. Any commitment or duration described in a practice profile is an indicative planning requirement for that route, subject to that agreement.

Pay

$75 $120/hr USD. The applicable rate is agreed for the work and professional track before you begin.
