ixolabs.ai is seeking experienced senior reviewers for remote inpatient record reviews to ensure quality and accurate documentation. Two practice routes exist: recent board-certified hospitalist track and senior attending-level track for complex judgments.

Ideal candidates have MD/DO board certification in internal medicine, pediatrics or hospital medicine with inpatient practice in the last two years, and familiarity with audits, documentation quality or quality-improvement programs.

Review inpatient records for supported clinical claims, documentation accuracy and care quality. Assess histories, assessments and plans, identify missing or inconsistent information and explain complex cases; senior reviewers also help clarify quality standards and ambiguous judgments.

Practice scope

There are two practice routes: recent board-certified hospitalist work for record-grounding review, and senior attending-level experience for complex clinical-quality judgments. The senior route favors ten or more attending years; the standard route does not impose that seniority threshold.

Professional background

Two preferred clinical profiles apply. Complex quality review favors an MD or DO with at least ten attending-level hospitalist years and experience in audits, documentation quality or clinical QA. Leadership in coding, inpatient quality or documentation-improvement programs is useful. Record-grounding review instead favors an MD/DO board-certified in internal medicine, pediatrics or hospital medicine, with inpatient practice within the last two years. Know hospital workflows, clinical notes and underlying record data, and apply review rules consistently. Chart review, CDI, utilization management, coding/QA and experience across services are advantages. The ten-year threshold belongs only to the senior quality profile.

Working arrangements

This is remote, paid IXO expert work. Agree the specific task brief, permitted materials, outputs and working schedule with IXO before starting. Any commitment or duration described in a practice profile is an indicative planning requirement for that route, subject to that agreement.

Pay

$75 $105/hr USD. The applicable rate is agreed for the work and professional track before you begin.
