As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chef de Rang to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Job Summary:

The Maître d’Hôtel is a key leadership role within the front-of-house team, responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the restaurant, ensuring excellent service, and enhancing the guest experience. This role involves managing staff, coordinating service, maintaining high standards of hospitality, and acting as the first point of contact for guests in the dining room.

As the Maître d’Hôtelyou will be part of the senior front of house team on site, working closely with the front of house manager to ensure excellent customer service & maintaining culture and standards throughout.

Responsibilities:

• Being the restaurant and bar figure head for the customer experience, food and beverage service standard.
• Responsible for managing reservations and table allocation and ensuring maximum number of covers are served daily.
• Ensure team accurately take and deliver orders of food and drink.
• Maintain the delivery of our standard of service and hospitality.
• Ensure the service cycle is maintained at all times.
• Maintaining very high levels of cleanliness throughout all areas of control at all times.
• Liaising with other members of the management team in the delivery of outstanding service at all times.
• Consistently developing the team and train the team to ensure the highest levels of customer service.
• Through outstanding service and great experiences make Le Tremplin ‘better to be there’ best in class and the venue of choice in the Alps.
• Have collaborative influence on the drinks, wine, cocktail menus but work within a pre-defined style and structure
• Ensure that all areas of safety and control are effectively managed & maintained
• Promoting a culture of kindness and upholding our company values.

Further Requirements:

Candidates must be fluent in French and English.

Candidates must be in possession of the correct work permits to fulfil the role.

Proven experience in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment is required.

This is a role for a hardworking individual with the ability to anticipate the needs of the wider team and our customers.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
