Job summary

Widen the Net is seeking an IT Support Technician to support Paris users for a leading social networking tech company. You will be the on-site IT technician for Paris, troubleshooting Mac OS (and some Windows/Linux), handling Cisco networks, AD and digital workspace tech like Okta, Jira, Slack, Confluence, Google Workspace, backups, storage, JAMF, and AV/VC.

You will clear ticket backlogs, analyze issues, escalate when needed, and perform root-cause investigations within SLA using Jira;

Qualifications

• 1 year+ experience in IT support/service desk.
• Experience with Jira or ServiceNow.
• Good knowledge in Mac OS and Windows OS.
• Knowledge in scripting such as Python, PowerShell or automation is a big plus.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Sociable and user friendly.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an IT support technician to support their growth in Paris:

• Part of a EMEA team but the sole IT technician on site for the users in Paris
• Troubleshoot mostly Mac OS (with some Windows and Linux OS), Cisco network, AD and digital workspace technologies such as Okta, Atlassian, Slack, Confluence, Google Workspace, back ups, storage, MDM such as JAMF, AV/VC;
• Clearing tickets backlog, analysing issues and following up with end users, escalating technical issues, helping resolving problems and finding root cause within SLA using Jira
• Documentations

Requirements:

• 1 year+ experience working as IT support/service desk
• Experience in ticketing management system such as Jira or ServiceNow;
• Good knowledge in Mac OS and Windows OS;
• Knowledge in scripting such as Python, powershell or automation is a big plus
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills;
• Sociable and highly user friendly

Initially 12 months full time contract and will extend yearly afterwards. This is an indirect CDI contract with an umbrella payroll company.

Offers 250 Euro to 300 Euro per day all inclusive depending on experience (plus over time if any). Monday to Friday 8 working hours per day, 5 days on site at Paris office.
