Dust is seeking a Solutions Engineering Lead to build and manage the team that connects our technical groups with customers, partners, and go-to-market efforts. You will shape evaluations, implementations, and co-sell strategies while remaining hands-on with complex opportunities across Sales, CS, Product, and Engineering.

You will mentor the team, set standards for demo excellence, and drive metrics like time to value and POC conversion, all while ensuring security and enterprise integration

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading technical teams across pre-sales, post-sales, solutions consulting or related functions.
• Experience managing across multiple Solutions Engineering functions (pre-sales, post-sales, implementation, partnerships).
• Hands-on, low-ego leadership style with strategic thinking.
• Deep technical expertise across APIs, integrations, data connectors, and enterprise architecture.
• Ability to write production code (Python, TypeScript, Bash) and ship real projects.
• Familiarity with enterprise security/compliance: REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, SSO, SOC 2, GDPR.

Responsabilités

• Build and lead the Solutions Engineering organization across pre-sales, post-sales, and partnerships.
• Define team structure, roles, careers, standards, and success metrics.
• Hire and onboard 4–6 Solutions Engineers in year one.
• Create repeatable playbooks for discovery, pilots, onboarding, implementation, enablement, expansion, and co-selling.
• Set standards for technical capability, Dust platform expertise, demo craft, and customer communication.
• Coach the team with regular feedback, performance reviews, and leadership development.
• Track metrics such as POC conversion, time to value, and partner-sourced pipeline.
• Stay hands-on with Dust API, data connectors, agent orchestration, and integration architecture.
• Collaborate with Sales, CS, Product, Engineering, and Partnerships to shape technical strategy.
