Job summary

Leica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Commercial Training & Competency Program Manager to design, deploy, and govern a global learning framework across regions. You will work with Regional Commercial Leaders, BUs and DBS to build scalable programs that strengthen sales competencies and enable commercial teams.

This strategic role reports to the Director Global Commercial Operations and is fully remote in France.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in Business, Training & Development, Commercial Management, or comparable experience.
• 7+ years in Sales, Commercial Excellence, Sales Enablement or Training roles.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage global programs and projects.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Strong command of MS Office, and in particular MS Excel and large language model (LLM) based answer engines such as M365 Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the global commercial training strategy by establishing a consistent, scalable learning framework across regions.
• Build and govern a global sales competency framework that defines capabilities, assesses proficiency, identifies gaps, and drives development plans.
• Partner with Regional Commercial Leaders, BUs, and DBS teams to align training priorities and drive accountability for capability development.
• Establish robust training governance and operational excellence through standardized processes, content management, reporting, compliance oversight, learning platforms, and Train-the-Trainer networks.
• Measure impact and continuously improve commercial capabilities by tracking training effectiveness and providing actionable insights to leadership.
