Job summary

Leica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks a versatile Commercial Training & Competency Program Manager to design and govern a global commercial capability framework. The role partners with regional leaders to scale learning, improve sales skills, and drive accountability across regions.

This remote France-based position requires 7+ years in Sales/Training, strong facilitation and MS Excel skills, and travel ~20%. Experience with Cornerstone or Workday Learning is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Training & Development, Commercial Management, or comparable experience.
• 7+ years in Sales, Commercial Excellence, Sales Enablement, or Training roles.
• Proven ability to build and manage global programs and projects.
• Excellent facilitation, communication and influencing skills.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel; familiarity with LLM tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT).
• Willingness to travel ~20%.
• Experience with LMS (Cornerstone, Workday Learning) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the global commercial training strategy across regions.
• Build and govern a global sales competency framework and development plans.
• Align training priorities with Regional Leaders, BUs, and DBS teams.
• Establish training governance, content management, and reporting processes.
• Measure impact and drive improvements with data and leadership insights.
