CIMCO is looking for experienced Pipefitter-Welders for our facility in Burlington.

Jobs Available:

Experienced Pipefitter-Welder: Fitting pipe and spools with bevel preparations, proper root gap and alignment. Tack in place.

Role Responsibilities

• Using and caring for machines and tools of the trade. (Tools provided)
• Assembling components / spools so they are ready for installation. Install
• Reading and interpreting Engineered blueprints and drawings
• Performing MIG, STICK, TIG, Brazing, Oxy Fuel cutting and heating, Plasma cutting
• Piping ¾” up to 16” Sch10, 40, 80, XXD. Carbon and SS
• High attention to detail and workmanship
• Carrying out planned tasks along with daily housekeeping and equipment checks

Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals and processes.
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and spec. TSSA and ASME
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are important.
• Ability to problem solve, make decisions, plan and organize jobs and tasks.
• Excellent communication including oral and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
• Unionized environment.
