Job summary

Sobi is seeking a Regional Medical Excellence Associate Director/Director to oversee Europe, with remote work across Europe and up to 30% travel. The role focuses on developing medical strategies, aligning with country teams, and driving launch readiness through data and insights.

The ideal candidate is a Medical Doctor or equivalent, with 10+ years in pharma, and strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to advance rare disease initiatives.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor, pharmaceutical or biomedical degree or equivalent by experience.
• Strong leadership skills with people management, training and coaching.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with relationship building and stakeholder collaboration.
• Ability to drive strategic, analytical thinking and effective execution.
• Experience in Rare Diseases and Nephrology is valued; cardiometabolic experience preferred.
• Remote work capability with 30% travel across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of Europe Region Medical strategies and tactics.
• Provide insights to European Medical team to develop KOL engagement plans.
• Coordinate with country teams for standardized medical activities and launch planning.
• Consolidate dashboards, monitor KPIs, and elaborate launch reports with actionable insights.
• Identify areas for improvement and coach regional staff for capability uplift.
• Support learning and development programs to meet business objectives.
• Set up and drive regional tactical medical plans and priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams as the voice of regional needs.
• Support due diligence and Global B&D programs in collaboration with regional and global teams.
