Job summary

Sobi is seeking a Regional Medical Excellence Associate Director/Director to lead Europe medical strategies, insights, and regional execution across Europe. The role requires collaboration with country teams, dashboards, and scientific programs to ensure launch readiness and impactful medical activities.

The position is fully remote in Europe with up to 30% travel, and demands senior leadership, strategic thinking, and a patient-focused approach to rare diseases.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor, pharmaceutical or biomedical degree or equivalent by experience.
• Minimum 10 years in pharma with at least 4 years in Medical Affairs or a related field.
• Experience in Rare Diseases and Nephrology is preferred, cardiometabolic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Europe region medical strategies and tactics.
• Provide insights and develop the KOL engagement plan with high value scientific programs.
• Collaborate with country teams to standardize medical planning and execution, including Evidence Generation and Dissemination, Field Medical Training, Launch Planning.
• Consolidate dashboards, monitor KPIs, and elaborate launch reports with actionable insights.
