Job summary

Syneos Health in Paris, France seeks a Country Medical Director to provide strategic medical leadership for Rare Neuromuscular Diseases, including SMA, and to drive the country launch strategy and cross-functional collaboration.

You will lead a country medical team, engage with KOLs and government bodies, oversee medical content and publications, ensure ethics and compliance, and travel ~20-40% as needed. MD/PhD and biotech industry experience required.

Qualifications

• MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent scientific degree.
• Experience in industry R&D or Medical Affairs.
• Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and medical leadership for country medical affairs (pre)launch plans.
• Lead the country medical team including field Medical Advisors.
• Interface with external stakeholders (government agencies, medical societies, KOLs) to discuss SRK assets.
• Oversee gathering and reporting medical insights and ensure compliant, timely delivery of medical materials.
