OVHcloud in Rennes is seeking a tech-enthusiastic Support Engineer for the Corporate Support team. You will assist highly competent customers with English and French, providing effective problem solving and proactive service in a fast-moving IT environment.

You will collaborate with Product Management and Engineering, document technical guidance, and may be required to support weekends or night shifts. The role emphasizes customer focus, rigorous organization, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Experience in IT with rotation shifts.
• Solid knowledge of virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V.
• Basics of Cloud products: Dedicated Servers, VPS, Public Cloud.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux.
• Familiar with networks, DNS, and Firewall.
• Curious about new technologies.
• Strong writing and oral communication skills.
• Rigorous and organized with good stress management.
• Strong service orientation and international mindset.
• Autonomous in fast-moving environments.

Responsabilités

• Engage directly with customers via phone, ticketing system, and remote video sessions to resolve issues.
• Share best practices and guide users to solve problems.
• Research and identify solutions via troubleshooting with cross-functional involvement.
• Ensure SLA compliance and high customer satisfaction by setting expectations and fulfilling commitments.
• Create and update technical documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and management.
• Work with Product Management and Engineering to drive awareness of incidents and feature requests.
• Weekend and/or night shifts may be required.
