Nikki Beach Saint Tropez is seeking a Commis Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team this season. This entry-level position focuses on building a strong culinary foundation while supporting senior chefs in daily prep and service.

You will work hands-on to uphold high standards of quality, hygiene, and consistency in a luxury setting. You will gain practical experience in mise en place, food preparation, and plating, with a clear path for growth within the culinary brigade at Nikki Beach

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen or culinary training (internship/apprenticeship experience welcomed)
• Passion for food, learning, and developing culinary skills
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work well under pressure
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and eager to support colleagues
• Understanding of hygiene, health, and safety regulations

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily food preparation under the guidance of the Chef de Partie and senior chefs
• Carry out basic cooking tasks such as chopping, peeling, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation at all times
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and plating standards consistently
• Support mise en place preparation for service and special events
• Store and label ingredients correctly to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any issues immediately
• Participate in kitchen cleaning routines and deep cleaning rotations
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen brigade to ensure seamless service flow
