Job summary

ABB Distribution Solutions in Vaasa is seeking a Technical Marketing Manager to act as the primary technical counterpart for selected customer accounts and market segments. You will lead technical pre-sales from review to presentations, training and approvals, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with sales and product management.

Expect global travel about 50 days per year, a hybrid work model, and opportunities to shape product development through customer feedback and market insights.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc level degree in electrical engineering or similar.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical counterpart for assigned accounts and strategic sales opportunities.
• Lead technical pre-sales activities from specification review and solution definition through customer presentations, training and approval processes.
• Deliver technical presentations on our product portfolio and applications for prospective and existing customers.
• Lead and conduct factory acceptance tests (FATs) for assigned customer accounts.
• Provide technical training to local sales teams and customers to promote our products and help improve the overall technical competence of the markets.
