Job summary

Sweco is seeking a Project Director to lead large industrial investments in Finland, with project responsibilities from development to handover. The role requires the ability to direct multidisciplinary teams and coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.

The position offers opportunities to travel domestically and internationally, and combines on-site leadership with flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• BSc, MSc or equivalent engineering qualification.
• 10+ years of experience in senior project leadership roles.
• Proven track record delivering industrial investment projects (EPCM/PMC or similar).
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• English communication; Finnish/Swedish advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead demanding multidisciplinary industrial projects from development through handover.
• Oversee strategic and commercial delivery of large projects or portfolios.
• Manage schedules, budgets, risks and client/stakeholder relationships.
