Job summary

Sweco is seeking a Project Director to lead large, demanding industrial investments from development to handover. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules and budgets, and shape project portfolios at strategic and commercial levels.

Travel within Finland and internationally may be required; strong English communication is essential, with Finnish/Swedish an advantage. A technical engineering degree and extensive leadership experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in senior project leadership roles.
• Proven track record delivering industrial investment projects.
• Experience in EPCM, PMC or Owner's Engineering delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary industrial projects from development through handover.
• Drive strategic and commercial delivery at project and portfolio level.
• Coordinate interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Lead and develop high-performing project organisations and liaise with clients and partners.
