Job summary

Sweco is seeking a Project Director to lead major industrial investment projects in Finland, including EPCM/PMC delivery. You will own the strategic direction, budgets, schedules, and interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, while guiding cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The role involves significant travel within Finland and possibly international assignments, reporting to the Industrial Projects division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering and 10+ years in senior project leadership.
• Proven track record delivering industrial investment projects with EPCM, PMC, or Owner's Eng delivery.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Fluent English; Finnish/Swedish language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead large industrial investment projects from development through handover.
• Set strategy, scope, budgets, schedules, and risk for complex programs.
• Travel within Finland and internationally as required.
