Job summary

Sweco is seeking a Project Director to lead demanding industrial projects from development through handover. You will steer multi-disciplinary teams, manage schedules and budgets, and maintain strong client relations across EPCM and similar delivery models.

In this senior role, you will shape project strategy, oversee commercial aspects, and travel within Finland and internationally as required. Fluency in English is essential; Finnish/Swedish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in senior project leadership roles.
• Engineering degree (BSc/MSc) or equivalent.
• Experience delivering industrial investment projects (process industries, data centres).

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large industrial investment projects from development through handover.
• Manage schedules, budgets, risks and commercial matters while leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with clients and partners to drive successful project outcomes.
• Communicate confidently in English; Finnish/Swedish an advantage.
