Job summary

Greenstep, a Finland-based growth company, seeks a Lead Fabric / Data Platform Consultant to join its Data & Technology team in Finland. You will own the architecture, build core components, and guide client engagements from design to production.

Core platforms include Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks, dbt and Snowflake. You will lead technical delivery, mentor colleagues, and shape scalable data lakehouse solutions while collaborating with a wide client network.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience delivering data platforms and analytics in client projects.
• Fluency with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data stack across workloads.
• Solid experience with Databricks, dbt, Snowflake; able to judge fit and integration.
• Strong Power BI skills: semantic modelling and DAX.
• Proficient Python / PySpark and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture of client data platforms (ingestion, transformation, storage, modelling, serving).
• Design and build on Microsoft Fabric and wider Azure data stack.
• Lead work on Databricks, dbt and Snowflake with migrations and hybrid setups.
• Develop layered lakehouse/warehouse architectures with performance and cost focus.
• Build Power BI semantic models and reusable DAX; define CI/CD for data workloads.
• Set engineering discipline (version control, CI/CD, testing, observability).
• Incorporate data governance, security and privacy from day one.
• Advise clients: challenge requirements, run workshops, support scoping and proposals.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to reusable accelerators and governance models.
