Job summary

Greenstep, a Finland‑based growth company, is seeking a Lead Fabric / Data Platform Consultant to lead architecture and client engagements within the Data & Technology team. The role emphasizes technical leadership, platform choice, and production readiness across Fabric, Azure, Databricks, dbt and Snowflake.

You will mentor engineers, set engineering standards, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust data solutions in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands‑on experience delivering data platforms and analytics in client projects.
• Strong architectural understanding of Microsoft Fabric and Azure data workloads.
• Experience with Databricks, dbt and Snowflake and related data tools.
• Fluent Power BI skills including semantic modelling and DAX.
• Proficient Python / PySpark and SQL; knowledge of ELT patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture of client data platforms: ingestion, transformation, storage, modelling, serving and operation.
• Design and build on Microsoft Fabric across OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory pipelines and Synapse.
• Lead work on Databricks, dbt and Snowflake and manage hybrid deployments.
• Develop layered lakehouse/warehouse architectures with focus on performance and cost.
• Lead and mentor delivery teams, establish engineering standards, and support sales scoping.
