Job summary

Greenstep is seeking a Lead Fabric / Data Platform Consultant in Finland to own client data platform architectures end to end. The role combines technical leadership, architecture, and client-facing work within our Data & Technology team, collaborating with Databricks, dbt, Snowflake, and the broader Azure stack.

You will guide delivery teams, set engineering standards, and mentor colleagues while driving secure, scalable data solutions for multiple clients in a hybrid-office model.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on data platform delivery experience.
• Microsoft Fabric and Azure core platform knowledge.
• Experience with Databricks, dbt and Snowflake; fluency in at least two.
• Strong Power BI modelling and DAX skills.
• Proficiency in Python/PySpark and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD for data workloads and Git integration.
• Fluent Finnish and working English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data platform architecture and delivery engagements.
• Lead architecture decisions across Fabric, Lakehouse, and data pipelines.
• Guide and mentor delivery teams; contribute to governance and standards.
• Advise clients, run workshops, and shape scoping and proposals.
• Collaborate with data engineers and BI developers to implement solutions.
• Ensure security, privacy, and compliance considerations from day one.
