Job summary

Greenstep is seeking a Lead Fabric / Data Platform Consultant in Finland to own architecture and lead technical delivery on client data platforms. You will work across Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, dbt and Snowflake, shaping target architectures and setting engineering standards.

The role combines hands-on development with client-facing advisory work in a hybrid Finnish office culture. You will mentor colleagues, drive reusable accelerators, and help deliver secure, scalable data solutions for a

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience delivering data platforms and analytics, including consulting or client projects.
• Fluent in Finnish and working proficiency in English; client work often in Finnish.
• Strong architectural understanding across Fabric and Azure data ecosystem.
• Solid experience with Databricks, dbt and Snowflake; able to judge fit across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture of client data platforms (ingestion, transformation, storage, modelling, serving).
• Lead design and build on Microsoft Fabric and wider Azure data stack.
• Guide Databricks, dbt and Snowflake deployments and migrations.
• Develop scalable lakehouse and warehouse architectures with attention to performance and cost.
• Create Power BI semantic models and reusable DAX for single source of truth.
• Establish engineering discipline (CI/CD, testing, observability) and governance.
• Advise clients, run workshops, and support sales scoping and solutioning.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to reusable accelerators and governance models.
