Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Finland is seeking a Service Sales Engineer for the Proactive Sales team to develop customer opportunities, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and coordinate tender activities across Vaasa, Lappeenranta, or Vantaa.

You will work with customers, sales colleagues, and internal experts to ensure solutions meet requirements and standards. The role combines technical insight with business development: analyzing customer needs, creating competitive quotations, and

Qualifications

Technical background, preferably Electrical Engineering.
Knowledge of MV/HV substations and related products.
Experience in sales, customer-facing roles, project business, or technical support is a plus.
Ability to learn and understand power systems, transformers, high-voltage equipment and related services.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Fluent Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

Support the Proactive Sales team in developing customer opportunities and driving sales activities.
Prepare technical and commercial quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
Coordinate bid and tender activities to ensure timely submissions.
Analyze customer requirements to identify suitable technical and commercial solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement of sales support processes, tools, and documentation.
Take ownership of sales opportunities and identify lessons learned for future competitiveness.
