Job summary

Hitachi Energy Finland Oy is seeking a Service Sales Engineer in Vaasa to support the Proactive Sales team in developing customer opportunities and coordinating tender activities. You will translate customer needs into practical service solutions, prepare quotations, and work closely with sales colleagues and internal experts.

The role requires a technical background (Electrical Engineering preferred), knowledge of MV/HV substations, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Technical background; degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of MV/HV substations and related technologies.
• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles is a plus.
• Willingness to learn power systems and high-voltage equipment; strong self-drive.

Responsibilities

• Support Proactive Sales team in developing customer opportunities and driving sales activities.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
• Collaborate with customers, sales colleagues, and internal experts throughout the sales process.
• Analyze customer requirements and identify suitable technical and commercial solutions.
• Ensure proposals meet specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate bid and tender activities to ensure timely submissions.
• Contribute to sales growth through high-quality technical and commercial support.
