Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Finland is seeking a Service Project Manager to join our Service Business Unit. In a hybrid setup, you will oversee maintenance and service activities, lead on-site reviews, and coordinate stakeholder communications with customers and the sales team.

The role requires a B.Sc. in electrical engineering with power systems experience, a service-oriented mindset, and strong safety culture. Finnish language skills are essential, with basic English; travel is primarily within Finland.

Qualifications

B.Sc. in electrical engineering and relevant experience with power systems or similar.
Service oriented with a solution-minded approach.
Basic IT skills and ability to learn modern engineering applications.
High integrity and a safety-first mindset.
Experience from power system service/maintenance.
Understanding power quality, relay protection and communication is an advantage.
Excellent written and spoken skills in Finnish; basic English.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance and service activities.
Review work on-site and provide leadership for maintenance work in the field.
Lead and support service projects; act as PM where needed.
Coordinate regular customer meetings, project reviews, and stakeholder communications.
Establish long-term customer relationships and coordinate warranty jobs with the sales team.
