A multinational company in the energy sector is seeking an experienced professional for revenue modeling and optimization of assets. Applicants should have a relevant degree and over 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Revenue modelling for merchant assets in various markets.
- Due diligence of assets under acquisition from a revenue optimization perspective.
- Support in preparing investment memos and presentation materials.
Skills
Education
Multinational company in the energy sector.
Revenue modelling for merchant assets: day-ahead market, intraday market, FCR/aFRR/mFRR.
Nodal analysis (identifying areas/nodes with higher differentials, congestion, and extreme prices).
Due diligence of assets under acquisition from a revenue optimization perspective.
Technical and economic interaction with traders, preparation of RFPs, and evaluation of revenue-sharing models.
Definition of an optimization methodology for the portfolio, including utility-scale assets across various technologies.
Support in the preparation of investment memos and presentation materials for internal Committees and senior management.
Location: Sevilla, Madrid or remote based in Spain.
University degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Physics, or Mathematical Sciences.
Master\'s degree in Data Analysis, Energy Markets, Energy Systems, or related fields will be valued.
More than 5 years of proven experience in similar positions (within the renewable energy sector).
Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Solid knowledge of valuation techniques, financial statements, and deal structuring.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
