Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to manage remote operations for offshore wind assets from Barcelona. You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve issues, ensuring safe, reliable performance across the asset lifecycle.

The role requires wind energy experience, SCADA knowledge, and readiness to travel up to 20%. Fluency in English and EU work eligibility are essential, with relocation to Barcelona expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
