GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) based in Barcelona. You monitor offshore wind assets, diagnose anomalies, and optimize performance from a remote hub, collaborating with site teams and engineers.

You will travel up to 20%, support commissioning and service activities, and participate in shift rotations with occasional on-call work. Fluency in English is required; relocation to Barcelona is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and clear technical communication under pressure.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.
• Fluent English; Spanish optional.

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call rotation on weekends/holidays.
