Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center in Barcelona, Spain, focusing on safe and efficient offshore wind asset operation. You will monitor turbines, diagnose issues remotely, and collaborate with site teams to optimise performance.

You will analyse data, support commissioning and service activities, and contribute to continuous improvement while travelling up to 20% if needed. This role requires English fluency, relocation willingness, and EU work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift with on-call rotation for weekends/holidays.
