Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) based in Barcelona, Spain. You will lead safe, efficient offshore wind asset operations from a remote center, spanning commissioning to service, driving reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include remote diagnostics, data analysis, and coordinating with field teams. Requires engineering degree, wind energy experience, and willingness to travel; relocation to Barcelona and EU eligibility are

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
Hands-on experience with wind turbines in operational environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.
Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
