A leading international bank in Madrid is seeking a Vicepresident - Transaction Services Sales Trade Consultant. In this role, you will lead the sales process for Trade products, ensuring client satisfaction and managing the implementation of transactions. Candidates should have 4-7 years of experience in trade finance, strong client management skills, and fluency in English and Spanish. At ING we are looking for Vicepresident - Transaction Services Sales Trade Consultant Iberia
As a key member of the TS Iberia Sales Trade team, you will lead the end‑to‑end sales process and take direct ownership of the implementation and delivery of the full Trade product suite. Acting as Deal Principal, you will be accountable for structuring and executing transactions for clients within your scope, ensuring flawless delivery and commercial impact. You will collaborate closely with the Trade Sales Account Management team (and where needed with the Centre of Expertise – Trade Sales) to drive seamless execution, maximise client satisfaction, and identify future growth and cross‑sell opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.
The product scope includes the wider products offered such as the traditional trade products (bank guarantees, stand‑by letters of credit) as well as different open‑account working capital products (receivables, supply chain and inventory). These products are focused on wholesale banking clients within the Transaction Services offering.
We work through our dedicated Trade teams based in different EMEA countries as well as New York and across APAC. The scope of activities will be closely aligned with the Trade Sales CoE and the Trade Sales Account Management teams.
Key responsibilities include cross‑functional collaboration with credit, legal, and sector teams to support client needs and drive scalable and compliant growth in Trade Solutions. Acting as a conduit to product management, you also drive innovation by focusing on selective differentiating themes that reinforce ING’s competitive edge and deliver scalable client impact.
You will be part of the TS Iberia Sales team and will report directly into the Head of TS Sales Iberia and functionally to the Global Head of Trade Sales in Belgium.

Como miembro clave del equipo TS Iberia Sales Trade, liderarás el proceso de ventas end‑to‑end y asumirás la responsabilidad directa de la implementación y entrega de la suite completa de productos Trade. Actuando como Deal Principal, serás responsable de estructurar y ejecutar transacciones para clientes dentro de tu ámbito, asegurando una entrega impecable y un impacto comercial significativo.
Colaborarás estrechamente con el equipo de Trade Sales Account Management (y cuando sea necesario con el Centre of Expertise – Trade Sales) para impulsar una ejecución fluida, maximizar la satisfacción de las personas clientes e identificar oportunidades futuras de crecimiento y cross‑sell alineadas con los objetivos estratégicos.
El alcance del producto incluye la gama más amplia de productos ofrecidos, como los productos tradicionales de trade (garantías bancarias, cartas de crédito stand‑by y diferentes productos de working capital en open account: cuentas por cobrar, supply chain y también inventario). Estos productos están orientados a clientes de banca mayorista dentro de la oferta de productos de Transaction Services.
Trabajamos a través de nuestros equipos dedicados de Trade ubicados en diferentes países de EMEA, así como en Nueva York y en toda la región APAC. El alcance de las actividades estará estrechamente alineado con el Trade Sales CoE y los equipos de Trade Sales Account Management.
Las responsabilidades clave incluyen la colaboración transversal con los equipos de crédito, legal y sectoriales para dar soporte a las necesidades de las personas clientes y fomentar un crecimiento escalable y conforme en Trade Solutions. Actuando como enlace con la gestión de producto, también impulsarás la innovación centrándote en temas diferenciadores selectivos que refuercen la ventaja competitiva de ING y generen un impacto escalable en las personas clientes.
Formarás parte del equipo TS Iberia Sales y reportarás directamente al Head of TS Sales Iberia y funcionalmente al Global Head of Trade Sales en Bélgica.
