Job summary

Proofpoint in Madrid is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to generate qualified sales opportunities for our Commercial sales team. You will work with regional sales and marketing to create sales accepted leads through inbound and outbound prospecting across the Spanish region.

You’ll gather intelligence on assigned accounts, connect influencers and decision makers with the sales team, and support account-based strategies with strong phone and written communication in

Qualifications

• Fluent Spanish and English required.
• Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions and CRM is a plus; Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and develop inbound and outbound leads and respond to product inquiries
• Gather actionable intelligence on assigned accounts
• Follow up on leads generated by marketing
• Manage email campaigns to generate new prospects
• Manage cold‑calling campaigns to generate new prospects
• Complete accurate tracking of communication with current and potential customers in Salesforce.com
• Schedule demonstrations between the Sales team members and potential customer
