Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to generate qualified sales opportunities for the Commercial sales team in the Spanish region. You will work with regional sales and marketing to pursue inbound and outbound leads, gather intelligence on accounts, and connect decision makers with our sales team.

You’ll collaborate with Account Management and Marketing to execute an account-based strategy, qualify leads, manage campaigns, and maintain accurate Salesforce.com

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English both written and spoken.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com is a plus.
• Strong phone and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Organised with attention to detail and process.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and develop inbound and outbound sales accepted leads and respond to product inquiries.
• Gather actionable intelligence for the accounts under responsibility.
• Follow-up on all leads generated by marketing and convert initial interest into sales accepted leads.
• Manage email campaigns to generate new sales prospects.
• Manage cold-calling campaigns to generate new sales prospects.
• Complete accurate tracking of communication with current and potential customers in Salesforce.com.
• Schedule demonstrations between Sales team members and potential customers.
