Job summary

Emergo by UL, a global leader in Human Factors advisory services, seeks a senior sales executive to drive new business across Europe for premium HF consulting services. You will be the primary client contact, translating customer needs into tailored proposals and guiding engagements from initial contact to contract closure.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, strong technical credibility, and deep industry understanding of medical devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in business, human factors engineering, biomedical engineering, life sciences or related field.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
• 5+ years of consultative sales experience with proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets (minimum $3 million/year).
• Medical device and/or life science industry experience required.
• Human Factors Engineering knowledge and experience preferred.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for client visits and trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for specialist Human Factors advisory services throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact to contract execution.
• Articulate Emergo by UL's value proposition in client presentations and proposals and manage client interactions to close sales.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas by collaborating with SMEs to craft tailored advisory solutions.
• Develop and maintain a proactive sales pipeline through outreach and trade shows or conferences.
• Identify customer needs and pain points in human factors to integrate solutions in product development processes.
