Job summary

Emergo by UL seeks a Senior Sales Executive for Medical Device Consulting in Europe (EMEA). The role can be remote or hybrid from an office in Barcelona, Basingstoke, or The Hague.

You will lead client engagements, scope projects, and drive contract closures with advanced technical credibility in Human Factors. You will build a strong sales pipeline, tailor advisory solutions, and collaborate with SMEs to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in business, human factors engineering, biomedical engineering, life science or related field.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
• 5+ years of consultative sales experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets (minimum $3M/year).
• Medical device and/or life science industry experience required.
• Human Factors knowledge and experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
• Ability to travel up to 30% for client visits and trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for specialty Human Factors advisory services throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact through scoping and contract execution.
• Articulate Emergo by UL's value proposition in client presentations and proposals and manage client interactions to close sales.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas; collaborate with SMEs to craft customized advisory service solutions.
• Develop and nurture a sales pipeline via proactive outreach and attendance at trade shows/conferences.
• Identify customer needs and pain points, integrate HF solutions into product development processes, and communicate value clearly.
• Contribute to marketing strategy and identify key events to represent the company.
• Advise leadership on evolving customer needs and industry trends to inform future offerings.
• Maintain relationships with target accounts and stay informed on client developments.
