Job summary

Emergo by UL is seeking a Senior Sales Executive for Medical Device Consulting Services in the EMEA region. The role can be remote or hybrid from Barcelona, Basingstoke, or The Hague, with up to 30% travel.

You will lead sales of premium Human Factors advisory services, engaging clients, crafting tailored solutions, and driving growth. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in consultative sales within medical devices or life sciences, strong English (C1), and a robust business acumen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in business, HF engineering, biomedical engineering, life sciences, or related field.
• English proficiency at C1 level.
• 5+ years of consultative sales with minimum $3M annual quota.
• Experience in medical device or life sciences industries.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Strong business acumen and sales process knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for Human Factors advisory services throughout the sales cycle.
• Understand customer needs and articulate the value proposition in client presentations and proposals.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas and collaborate with subject matter experts to tailor solutions.
• Develop sales pipeline via proactive outreach and presence at trade shows and conferences.
• Build trust with customers and identify needs and pain points in their product development processes.
• Contribute to marketing strategy and identify key industry events to represent the company.
• Advise HF leadership on evolving customer needs and industry trends.
• Maintain plans to prioritize target accounts and nurture relationships year-round.
• Acquire HF knowledge quickly through internal training and self-study.
