Job summary

Emergo by UL seeks a Senior Sales Executive for Medical Device Consulting Services in Europe. The role is customer-facing, selling premium Human Factors advisory services across the EMEA region. Remote work is possible, with hybrid options from Barcelona, Basingstoke, or The Hague.

You will drive pipeline, respond to inquiries, and close high-value HF engagements. Requirements include 5+ years of consultative sales in medical devices or life sciences, English at C1, and travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or graduate degree in business, human factors engineering, biomedical engineering, life science or related field.
• English proficiency must be at least C1 level.
• 5+ years of consultative sales experience and proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets (minimum $3 million/year).
• Medical device and/or life science industry experience required.
• Human Factors Engineering knowledge and experience preferable.
• Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software.
• Ability to travel including client visits and working at trade shows, up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for HF advisory services throughout the sales cycle from initial contact through project scoping and contract execution.
• Understand customer needs and articulate Emergo by UL's value proposition in presentations and proposals.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas and craft customized advisory service solutions.
• Develop sales pipeline via proactive outreach and trade shows attendance.
• Build trust with customers and identify needs to integrate HF solutions in product development.
