Job summary

Emergo by UL's Human Factors team seeks a service-minded Senior Sales Executive for Europe (EMEA). You will lead sales of premium Human Factors advisory services, with remote or hybrid work from Barcelona, Basingstoke, or The Hague. Build pipelines, tailor proposals, and close deals with SME support to deliver client value.

A strong business acumen, English at C1, and 5+ years in consultative sales in medical devices are required. Travel up to 30% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in business, human factors engineering, biomedical engineering, life sciences or related field.
• English proficiency at least C1 level.
• 5+ years of consultative sales experience with proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets (min $3 million/year).
• Medical device and/or life science industry experience required.
• Human Factors Engineering knowledge and experience preferred.
• Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
• Ability to travel including client visits and trade shows, up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for HF advisory services throughout the sales cycle.
• Articulate value propositions in client presentations and proposals.
• Close sales and manage client interactions to meet quotas.
• Develop sales pipeline via proactive outreach and conferences.
• Build trust with customers to identify needs and pain points including HF integration in product development.
• Contribute to marketing strategy and identify key industry events to represent the company.
• Advise HF leadership on evolving customer needs and industry trends.
• Maintain relationships with target accounts throughout the year.
• Gain HF knowledge via training and self-study.
