Senior Manual QA Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manual QA Engineer with a strong background in Agile methodologies and Scrum Master capabilities. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the quality and functionality of software products through meticulous manual testing while also facilitating Scrum processes and collaborating with the team to drive project success. We offer a hybrid work model with a mix of remote decoding and on-site work at EP纪委s Nicosia office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts for functional testing पति3441
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and devise effective test strategies
• Identify, document and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring thorough defect resolution
• Conduct regression testing to verify that existing functionalities remain unaffected by new changes
• Participate in code reviews, providing insights on testability and quality
• Engage in UI/API testing, supporting and conducting tests as required
• Manage tasks and track issues through sprint boards and ticketing systems, maintaining organized records
• Facilitate Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) and other Agile ceremonies, ensuring smooth and efficient team operations
• Proactively remove impediments and obstacles that hinder team progress, escalating issues when necessary
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to reflect on their processes and identify areas for optimization
• Support Product Owners in maintaining a well-organized product backlog and ensuring clear communication of product goals

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing
• Proficient in writing test cases and preparing detailed test reports
• Strong skills in SQL
• Capable of understanding business requirements and actively engaging in the project
• Quick learner with a proactive attitude towards challenges
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and rapport with diverse teams
• In-depth understanding of Agile principles and practices, with substantial knowledge of Scrum
• Familiarity with Agile metrics and their application in tracking team performance and identifying improvement opportunities
• English fluency (at least B2+ level) is essential

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes
• Experience with integration testing tools and testing of mobile-optimized web UIs
