Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support its Hugo system and DS1 platform across EMEA. The role requires strong technical acumen, multilingual communication, and the ability to work remotely with occasional international onsite activities.

You will collaborate with HCPs, SUS, and FSEs, drive issue escalation, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining documentation and remote service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with relevant experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
• Experience analysing technical issues for continuous improvement.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
• Regular working hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7AM-7PM with rotating coverage.
