Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind). Based in Barcelona, you will monitor turbine performance, diagnose issues, and drive remote support across commissioning and service phases.

You will work with site teams and engineers to ensure safe, reliable operation, optimise processes, and participate in on-call rotations while embracing a global energy transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.
• Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.
• Availability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
