Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona. You will supervise safe, efficient offshore wind asset operations from a centralized hub, coordinating with site teams and engineers to detect and resolve issues while improving performance.

You will monitor turbines, support commissioning and service activities, and guide field teams through diagnostics and troubleshooting. A proactive, collaborative mindset and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on‑call support during weekends and public holidays
