Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center supporting offshore wind assets from Barcelona. You will monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot to ensure safe, reliable turbine performance across commissioning and service phases.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, analyze data for faults and improvements, and contribute to process optimization while supporting occasional grid outage work and an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.
Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call support during weekends/public holidays.
