Job summary

Medtronic seeks a Remote Technical Services Specialist for the Hugo robotic surgery system and the DS1 analytics platform. You will provide remote support to health care professionals and field service engineers across EMEA, communicating complex technical issues clearly.

The role involves remote work with occasional onsite duties, requiring a biomedical/engineering background, multilingual abilities, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with relevant experience or advanced degree.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE and act as technical liaison.
• Drive escalation to resolve issues, initiating field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex requests.
• Perform technical activities with significant judgment and ownership of improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
