Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and the DS1 analytics platform across EMEA. The role requires strong technical and analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to explain complex issues to healthcare professionals and field engineers.

You will work remotely with potential international on-site training, following a schedule with CET hours and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering or an equivalent medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Serve as a technical liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities with ownership of continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
