Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery and DS1 analytics platform across EMEA. The role demands strong communication and problem-solving skills, with on-call duties and potential domestic/international onsite training.

You will collaborate with Health Care Professionals, Start-up-specialists and Field Service Engineers to resolve issues, drive escalations, and ensure high-quality documentation while working in a remote, globally

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation and system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
