Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Service Specialist for Surgical Robotics to support the Hugo robotic system and the DS1 analytics platform across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The role emphasizes remote diagnostics, escalation, and occasional on-site training, with a strong emphasis on communication with health care professionals and field engineers.

You will work to resolve complex issues, participate in continuous improvement, and operate within CET hours while rotating on-call

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Robotics or motion control experience in a large capital equipment environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE and act as a technical liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other remote service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional on-site training domestically and internationally.
• Work hours 8:00–16:30 CET with on-call rotation.
